When will .Net Core Linux be functionality complete?

#1

I’m trying to plan a fairly large project and it would be helpful to get a read on when the core team expects to be functionality complete. Is this a 2015 target? 2016? Other?

Not looking for firm commitments just a rough estimate of how long this journey is expected take.

Thanks,
Steve

@deserthacker - check out the table on this page https://github.com/dotnet/coreclr/wiki/Developer-Guide which gives you an idea of where we are and a sense of how the project is progressing wrt Mac & Linux support. You can also keep tabs on the progress we’re making on open sourning the libraries here https://github.com/dotnet/corefx-progress.

Thanks for the reply Beth!

I checked out that table but it didn’t really help answer my question.

Thanks,
Steve

@deserthacker - sorry we can’t be more specific right now. We’ll most likely have some more concrete things to say at the \build conference.
