What JIT is used in CoreCLR

#1

Hello all! Starting off my first post here with a few questions.

Could someone give a brief explanation about the JIT used in CoreCLR?
A few years ago in this post a “new” JIT called RuyJIT was announced for generating x64 code, and there they said the x86 JIT would remain the old one for a while.
Has the x86 JIT in the full framework also been replaced by now, or is it still the old one?
And how does this relate to CoreCLR? Does it use the exact same JITs as the full framework or do they use new ones that are better?

Regards
Stan
