Soap-client for .NetCore in c#

#1

Hi,

I wanted to build a soap-client for my .NetCore project, I was looking for something like the ‘add service reference’ from .NetFramework.

So I came across this link, nuget package Connected Service for Visual Studio, which does the same job:
https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=erikcai-MSFT.VisualStudioWCFConnectedService

So I just enter the address of the wsdl and then I’m asked for my credentials (since it is a private host). Everything seems right, but at the end I get this problem:

Error: Cannot obtain Metadata from http://address?wsdl
you have enabled metadata publishing at the specified address. For help enabling metadata publishing, please refer to the MSDN documentation at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=65455.
WS-Metadata Exchange Error.
URI: http://address?wsdl
Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: 'http://address?wsdl'.

Any thoughts guys?
