Bypass SSL validation in .NET core for Ubuntu

At present we are involved in developing MicroServices using ASP.NET core for Cloud Foundry platform. I guess it runs on Ubuntu. The Cloud foundry uses Self signed certificates. When we make a call from one service to another using System.Net.Http.HttpClient, the calls fails as a result of SSL validation.

So is there a way by which I can bypass this SSL validation on Ubuntu? I know it can be done for windows. Please help.
